Meet Your Hygienist
Laurie's aim as an oral health care provider is to be a vital instrument in inculcating the significance of mandatory dental hygiene to all citizens be here or anywhere in the world.
She earned her degree in Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) in National University, Manila, Philippines and received her Dental Hygiene degree (RDH) in Carrington College in San Jose, California. She received a 100% score for her clinical board exam administered by the Western Regional Examination Board. She pursued her Alternative Practice Program (RDHAP) in University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni - School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California. She trained and was granted her Associate Fellowship Soft Tissue Laser Certification by the World Clinical Laser Institute.
Prior to her dental hygiene career, she have worked alongside dentists and specialists around the Bay Area as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA). With this background, she realized that dentistry is where she truly wants to grow and excel throughout her career. Her passion and dedication to the dental field are beyond words.
Whenever she gets the chance, she travels the world and tries new fun activities. Being an avid foodie, she likes to explore different restaurants locally and overseas. She enjoys the adventure of exploring exotic dishes and delicacies. Her current hobbies are kick boxing, playing pickle ball, and golfing.
Volunteering
Laurie actively participates in dental missions as a way of giving back to people. She volunteers locally and overseas. Being able to help someone smile, feel comfortable, and know they were genuinely cared for is a reminder of why serving others through dentistry is so meaningful to her.
